Egg Plus Whites Omelette

Don’t call it an egg white omelette! This recipe has been one of my favorite weight loss hacks – AND cured my egg ick! Adding egg whites to an egg helps to add tons of protein, volume, and not add tons of calories. It also still has all of the micronutrients and benefits of a whole egg. This omelette acts as a great base for whatever you may want to add in. I’ve added shrimp, tofu, spinach, tomatoes, cheese, anything i could think of! Sometimes I even add nothing, and have plenty of veggies and toast on the side. It’s extremely simple to make and I hope you try it.

Recipe:

1 egg

2/3 cup egg whites

Salt

Spray oil

Combine your egg and egg whites, add a dash of salt and whisk to combine. Meanwhile heat a pan over medium heat. Spray your pan with oil, and when hot pour the egg whites in. Cover and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Remove lid and carefully fold egg over. Cover and let sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute more or until set (depends on the size of your pan). If adding things into the omelette, cook them in the pan before following these same directions.
